O.Brown - Los Angeles | BP Music Video

Born and raised in El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de los Angeles, Califaztlan of Belizean and Mexican descent. O.Brown got his start with his original group TRILOGY in 1996, TRILOGY was a hip-hop crew that he started with his cousin and partner N.E.V. and famed music producer Javi Lopez. The tracks were slammin' and the group performed live at many infamous Hollywood (The Sunset Strip) Clubs. Suddenly N.E.V. decided to leave the group for personal reasons, O.Brown and Javi Lopez were left alone to create the beats and rhymes and kept the dream alive.

Along came Bernard Williams aka KAOS, who with his mellow, one-of-a-kind stature, turned the world around for TRILOGY. O.Brown and KAOS were about to hit the top, when in 2003, The Trilogy world stopped due to a tragedy, KAOS passed away at the young age of 29. O.Brown's biggest fear was to go solo, but he now had no choice to continue the journey alone. The birth of his O.Brown's solo career began then, and in less than 3 years he has been featured in many underground mixtapes earning his stripes. Starting with Cypress Hill's frontman B-Real's "Gun Slingers Vol. 1" and the just released "Gun Slingers Vol. 2: Fist full of Dollars", DJ Warrior's "I'll Street Dues 3" hosted by Glasses Malone and Talib Kweli, which has been mentioned in Scratch Magazine and MTV's Mixed Tape Mondays. He is also featured on his TRILOGY partners "Execution Style Vol. 1" produced and arranged by beat-smith Javi Lopez just to name a few of the mixtapes O.Brown is featured on.

O.Brown released his first single titled "Los Angeles" on January on this year featuring B-Real of Cypress Hill. The "Los Angeles REMIX" features Bishop Lamont, Dr. Dre's newest artist on Aftermath both versions can be heard on BrownPride.com Digital Radio.

O.Brown along with video director Hugo V. and 614 Productions shot the "Los Angeles" music video exclusively for the release of the single. The music video has been getting airplay on LATV, IMF (International Music Feed), and MUN2 TV and is now being broadcast via the Internet through BrownPride.com Music Videos.

O.Brown just shot his second music video for his latest single "Sliding in the Whip" which also features Cypress Hill's emcee B-Real. The single will be dropping soon along with two new magazine features. Chicano Rap Magazine will be hitting the stores some time in June and Rime Magazine's draft pick section hitting stores in July. Don't be surprise if O.Brown shows up in The Source Magazine's Unsigned Hype section they way Immortal Technique and Los Nativos did, putting Latinos on the Map.
